Wildlife Friends of Thailand - Who Are We?
The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) is a registered foundation under Thai law. The foundation has as main objectives the conservation of wildlife, protection of natural resources and the environment.
Currently the WFFT runs several projects from hands-on wildlife rescue, medical care, wildlife rehabilitation, research on wildlife and marine mammals as well as the release of wild animals back to the wild.
Our goal in the first place is to provide a safe shelter for abused and neglected wild animals. We aim to rescue those animals who have suffered at the hands of humans, rehabilitating and releasing where possible, and caring for those who are unable to be returned to the wild. We aim to provide the best standard of living and a life as close to wild as possible for these animals.
The Wildlife Rescue centre is build on temple land; the abbot of the Kao Look Chang temple has generously given us a huge plot of forest for the animals to live in.

connec3e hepl Karen Tribe Children and Adult from Burma - Myanmar in Thailand

Connect3e carries out its vision by embracing, educating & empowering

"Most of us won't die from land-mines, malaria, dengue fever, malnourishment, or TB. We won't be stopped at checkpoints, jailed, raped, beaten, shot at, or have our homes and crops burnt."
For the Karen people of Burma this is their reality...not was...is! Connect is committed to embracing, educating and empowering Karen refugees who having fled Burma (Myanmar) now live in Thailand (along the Thai/Burma border). St Francis of Assisi said 'Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.' You are urged to join with us as we seek to do what is necessary. You are urged to join with us to do that which is possible

Embrace Educate EmpowerConnect3e’s deepest hope is to hear ‘we have done this ourselves’ from the people we serve. We believe that people have greatness within them. We expect that through embracing and educating we can see that greatness released. We want to provide a platform where hopes and dreams can be formulated and heard. We then aim to be an organisation that assists in these individual and collective dreams, hopes and ideas coming to fruition. Connect3e wants to see current and future generations led by their own people, in their own language and within their own culture. Therefore we empower.
